3. What is Permission Opening?

Permission opening is the field, where you can mention the employee wise permission entry limit for the month.

5. How to make I card?

Currently Pocket HRMS does not have the I card functionality.

6. In approval matrix if I change the name to approve the expenses, to admin, then can admin approve?

If the admin is been assigned as a manager to the expense module to a particular employee then only admin will be able to approve expenses from his/her ESS portal.

7. ESS portal helpdesk getting slow?

There might be below issues in slowness of the ESS portal: Kindly clear the caches, and check again, if it's not resolved then kindly connect with the support team.

9. Employees punches are not reflecting in pocket HRMS?

If the Employee punches are not reflecting in the HRMS portal, then kindly check with the below mentioned steps: 1. Check the Biometric Data base is showing the punches or not 2. If yes, then check the utility app is running or it is off. 3. It the utility is running, then right click on the utility icon in the app running arrow and click on restore, 4. the utility window will get opened. 5. Map the database and the other fields as it is. 5. Go to Synchronization page and start the utility. 6. Check the Pocket HRMS employee cloud profile > Attendance > click on eye icon in right upside corner > In Row punches if the punches are reflecting, 7. Run the in out import from Attendance > Utilities > In out Import. The punches will reflect in the system.

10. Cloud portal running slow?

If you notice the cloud portal running slowly, it could be caused by an internet issue or a temporary slowdown from a server restart.

11. How to reverse the un punches bulk import?

There is no option to reverse the import, to make changes in the imported file you need to import the corrected punches file again.

12. How to cancel the payroll process in progress?

There is no option to cancel the payroll process once you hit the process button, but you can delete the processed payroll to make changes if required.

13. When employee resign through there ESS portal, after manager approval how can employee see their last working day?

After the resignation approval the LWD will reflect on the employee ESS dashboard.

14. If PL is applied from backend then will it reflect in the attendance while payroll process?

Yes, if the leave is applied from cloud it will reflect in the employee profile also it will be counted in the leave applied and it won’t go for approval as admin had applied the leave.

15. How to cancel the process comp off?

The comp off process is not been cancelled as the comp off of the date range will get processed and the comp off dates which are lapse as per settings, it will get deducted from the comp off leave balance.

17. The download option is currently not visible Data wizard. Kindly guide us on how to enable it or provide the steps to resolve this issue?

If the Download option is not visible in Data Wizard, go to Settings → change Report Type to Master Report once, and then switch back to your required Report Type. The Download tab will then appear so you can choose the month and download.

18. How to update source list for candidates?

To Update source list for existing candidate you need to update it from particular candidate profile.

19. How to copy deduction details in new category?

To add the deduction component in the new category, you can connect with the support team by dropping an email to [e-mail] our team will get it done for you.

20. Where to activate attendance forecast for ESS?

The Attendance Forecast option can be enabled by our backend team. Once activated, it will be visible on the ESS portal. Employees will receive notifications in case they miss a punch.

21. License not updated but payment has been made?

If the payment has been made and still the license is not renewed or for any license related query, kindly contact with our team over an email ID: [e-mail]

22. What if Pocket HRMS not working?

If the app is not working well then kindly update the app, clear the cache / if you still facing the same issue then reinstall the app once and check,

23. How to disable the notification alert related to shift updates to employees?

The notification alerts related to shift updates can be disabled from the backend. For this, we request you to share a confirmation email approving the disabling of shift update notifications.

Please note that we will raise a request to disable the relevant employee email template once we receive your confirmation.

However, before proceeding, we would like to highlight that this notification is crucial for employees. Whenever a manager updates an employee’s shift, the employee receives an email informing them of the assigned shift for the respective dates. Disabling this notification may result in employees missing important shift-related updates.

24. Is there a new Pocket HRMS version launched?

Yes, we have launched the new Pocket HRMS App 2.0, designed to be more user-friendly, with a refreshed UI and smoother navigation for a better user experience.

You can download the same from your Play store if you are an android user or App store in case you an an iPhone user.

25. For the next year transition do all expenses need to be approved?

Pending expense entries need to be cleared before transferring the financial year to the next.
