# Employee Documents
### 1. How can an employee download their joining letter and appointment letter from the ESS portal Web and App?
**Path:** Employee ESS web Login > Profile > Other Details > Employee documents > the list of uploaded documents from HR will be view and can click on download icon
**Step 1:** Login to ESS using credentials, go to ‘Profile’ menu, and select ‘Other Details’ sub-menu.
**Step 2:** Select ‘Employee Documents’ tab, the list of uploaded documents from HR will be visible.
**Step 3:** Click the ‘Download icon’ on the right of the needed document and the downloaded file will be saved in your system.
