🔹Bulk Category Transfer
This feature allows you to bulk transfer employee categories using an Excel file, whereas previously, this process had to be completed individually for each employee.
How to do Bulk Category Transfer?
Path: Cloud Login > Employee > Import > From select import template, click on Category Transfer Import from drop down > Download category transfer import sample file > Make changes in the downloaded Excel as per your requirement and save it > Select or Add setting name > Import template (import the Excel file that you have saved after making changes) > Fill the starting and ending row > Map the components as per you Excel file > Save settings > Upload File.
Step 1: Log in to the Cloud portal. Navigate to the ‘Employee’ module, select ‘Import’.
Step 2: Click on ‘Select Import Template’ and select ‘Category Transfer Import’from drop-down and click the option to ‘Download category transfer import sample file’ to get the standard template.
Step 3: Open the downloaded Excel sheet, fill in the required employee and category transfer details as per your requirements, and save the file to your computer.
Step 4: Return to the portal and select an existing ‘Setting Name’ from the dropdown menu, or type to add a new one.
Step 5: Click on ‘Import Template’ to browse and select the Excel file you just prepared and saved in your system.
Step 6: Specify the Starting Row and Ending Row so the system knows exactly where your data begins and ends in the spreadsheet.
Step 7: Map the components by carefully matching the system fields to the corresponding column headers in your Excel sheet.
Step 8: Click ‘Save Settings’ to store this configuration for future use. Finally, click ‘Upload File’ to execute the bulk transfer.
