# Job Application Restriction

We use this setting to set up a waiting period to prevent candidates from applying for roles too frequently. This helps in managing application volume and ensuring accurate detection of repeat candidates.
**Note:** The criteria you select to identify duplicates will automatically be set as mandatory fields on your Career Page job application form.
### **Configure Job Application Restrictions**
**Step 1:** Log in to the **Cloud portal**, and go to **Settings**, then select **Recruitment V2.**
**Step 2:** Select **Job Application Restriction** from the menu. Select the waiting period for re-application. You can choose **30 Days**, **60 Days**, **90 Days**, or enter custom days.
**Step 3:** Select where the rule should apply: **Applied Job Only** for the same job, or **All Jobs in the Company** for all open jobs.
**Step 4:** Select how the system should identify duplicate applications, you can select one or more options from:
* **Aadhar Card**,
* **PAN Card**,
* **Mobile Number**,
* **Email**.
You can select one or more options, and Click **Save** to apply the setting.
