Dynamic Country–State Mapping while Candidate Creation

We’ve introduced a dynamic and customizable state list that automatically updates based on the country selected during candidate creation.

This ensures accuracy, reduces manual errors, and provides a smoother user experience for both recruiters and applicants.

Current Coverage:

Supported for countries such as India, Australia, and Malaysia.

Organizations can request additional country–state mappings through consultant support, making the feature adaptable to global hiring needs - [email protected]

Where to View and Map Country-State Option?

You can view and your required Country-State option through two different paths:

1. When Candidates Sets it for self.

2. When HR/Admin Sets it

When Candidate Sets Country-State Option:

Path: Visit the Company’s Career Page > Apply for your desired Job > Fill in the details > Proceed > fill details > change the country-state option > Apply.

Step 1: Visit career page, click on ‘Apply’ for your desired Job. Then it will take you to job application page, fill in all the details (Name, Dob, email, etc), Then, change the Country-state option and click on ‘Proceed’.

When HR/Admin sets Country-State Option:

Follow the path below when. HR/admin/recruiter sets the Country-state option:

Path: ESS login > Hire > Candidate > Candidates> Edit Icon > Basic Details > Change the Country-State option > save.

Step 1: Login to ESS portal, go to ‘Hire’ menu, and select ‘Candidate’ sub-menu.

Step 2: Select ‘Candidates’ tab, and click on the ‘Edit icon’ below the employee card.

Step 3: Select the ‘Basic Details’ option and change the Country-State option as per your requirement. Then click on ‘Save’.
