How to configure a new leave accounting year and transfer leaves along with balance into new financial year?

This page will help you configure a new leave accounting year and transfer leaves to the next financial year.

Also, you will learn how to update the holiday list for the next year. Shown below are steps for the same.

Note - Kindly contact your Admin/ HR for rights if you are not able to perform the steps below.

Please note-

Once we transfer the leave calendar year then we will not be able to make further changes to last year's leave calendar.

Before beginning, please ensure that the leaves for the current financial year have been cleared so that you can run the year-end processing.

For your reference, kindly download the Leave Summary Report from the following path: 'Analytics' > 'Reports' > 'Leave' > 'Report Wizard'.

Steps

How to transfer leaves to the next financial year:

Step 1: Go to 'Leave'

Step 2: Select 'Utilities' > 'Yearly Transfer'.

Step 3: Select the button 'Yearly Transfer'.

How to import opening leave balance in bulk:

Step 1: Go to 'Leave'

Step 2: Select 'Import' > 'Leave Opening'. You can select the correctly formatted excel file by selecting the 'Upload' icon shown below.

Step 3: Fill in the required details and select 'Upload' and then select 'Save Settings'.

How to update the leave balance manually:

Step 1: Go to 'Leave'

Step 2: Select 'Transaction' > 'Leave Opening'.

Step 3: Select the required fields and search for the employee to view and update the leave details for.

How to update the holiday list:

Step 1: Go to 'Settings'

Step 2: Select 'Leave' > 'Holiday'. You can either upload the holiday list in the required format or enter each individual holiday manually using buttons as shown below.
