# Face register from mobile app

### How to register for face punch from Mobile application?

**Path:** ESS login (Mobile Application Login Using credentials) > Click on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner of the page > Leave > Face Recognition > Click on the blue arrow > Upload from camera (to click your clear face picture)/ Upload from gallery (if you already have clear pictures) > upload 3 pictures one front face, one from left profile face and other from right profile view of your face > save.

**Step 1:** Log in to the **ESS Mobile Application** using your credentials. Tap the **three horizontal lines** (menu icon) located in the top-left corner of the page.

**Step 2:** Navigate to the **‘Leave’** menu and select the **‘Face Recognition’** option.

**Step 3:** Click on the **blue arrow** to proceed to the image upload section.

**Step 4:** Choose your upload method:

* **Upload from camera:** To capture a new, clear picture instantly.

* **Upload from gallery:** To select an existing clear picture from your device.

**Step 5:** You are required to upload **3 distinct pictures** covering the following angles:

* One **front face** view.

* One **left profile** view (side view).

**Step 6:** Once all images are uploaded, click **‘Save’** to complete the registration.

**Note:** After completion of the process, wait until HR approves your face registration, you will get the notification regarding the approval and then you can then Punch from your mobile application.

Note: Please consider the below points before uploading the photographs:<br>

* The background of the image should be in white.
* Light on the face should be clear
* Photograph should be clear and not blurred.
