# April 2026

### April 2026

We are thrilled to present our Monthly Update, with enhanced user-friendly tools to elevate your HR experience. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency drives us to bring you seamless updates that transform your HR processes. For the month of April 2026, we have the following enhancements.

### Leave Balance Report Filter Update

A generic filter has been added in the Leave Balance Report for Admin users. Earlier, the report included all employees without any filter. Now, admins can apply filters such as employee status, like Active Employees, before downloading the report. This helps generate more accurate and targeted reports.

### Breakshift-Based Leave Deduction

The system has been enhanced to deduct leave based on productive working hours for employees assigned to Breakshift-enabled shifts.

Earlier, leave deduction did not fully consider total productive hours from multiple punch pairs. Now, the system calculates total valid working hours and applies the required attendance or leave deduction through GO Rule configuration.

\*\*Benefit:\*\*This ensures accurate leave deduction for Breakshift employees and improves payroll accuracy.

### Attendance Report Upgrade

The report now shows all dates, even when Auto-Shift is enabled and no shift is assigned. Such dates are marked as “NA” or “Shift not assigned,” ensuring complete attendance visibility. Previously, when Auto-Shift was enabled and no shift was assigned, those dates were not shown in the Attendance Summary and Monthly Status report.

### In-Out Details – View Only Access

A new rights-based control has been added for the **In-Out Details** screen in user-wise login.

Earlier, users could access actions from the three-dot menu, such as **On Duty Entry, Permission Entry, Modified Punch, Raw Punch, Week Off, and Delete**.

Now, through **Go-Rule configuration**, users can be given **View-Only Rights**. When this is applied, the three-dot action menu will not be visible, preventing users from editing or performing any action from the screen.

### In-Out Details – Productive Hours

In the **In-Out Details** screen, a new column named **Productive Hours** has been introduced.

This column will display the employee’s actual working hours or productive hours for the day. It will be applicable for employees whose shift is configured as a **Break Shift**. With this update, users can easily view the total productive time of Break Shift employees directly from the In-Out Details screen.

### Auto Leave Credit Based on Attendance

In **Leave Credit Attendance Basis**, a new **Auto Credit** feature has been introduced, similar to the existing frequency-wise leave credit process.

This feature allows attendance-based leave credit to be processed automatically as per the configuration. Users can set the auto process to run on the **First Date, Last Date, or a Particular Date**. Based on the selected setup, the system will automatically credit leaves without manual processing.

### PMS Rating Configuration Update

In the **Performance Management System (PMS)**, users now have more flexibility while configuring ratings. Earlier, ratings were available only in whole numbers, such as **1, 2, 3, 4, and 5**. Now, users can configure decimal rating options in two ways:

**0.25 increments:** 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, etc.**0.5 increments:** 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, etc.

Additionally, users can also enter any decimal value manually, such as **1.10 or 3.79**, using the open input field. This enhancement provides more control and flexibility while assigning PMS ratings.

### Calculated Fields Update in PMS Reports

In the **Performance Management System (PMS)**, calculated fields in reports were earlier available as **text fields**, which made calculations slower and difficult.

Now, these fields have been changed to **Numerical field types**, making calculations faster and easier. This enhancement is applicable to all relevant reports in both **ESS** and **Cloud**.

### Separation Validation for Pending Approvals

The **Separation Validation** pop-up has been enhanced to show pending approvals more clearly and provide quick action options.

Earlier, all pending entries were shown in one section. Now, they are shown separately as:

1. Entries raised by the employee and pending with managers.
2. Entries raised by subordinates and pending with the separating employee.

Additional updates:

* Employee details are now shown in the validation pop-up.
* HR can send reminders or notifications to managers for pending approvals.
* HR can approve or reject pending entries in bulk.
* HR can transfer pending approvals from the separating employee to another manager.
* Separation can be processed only after all pending entries are cleared.
