# Monthly Input

### 1. How to import monthly input? / How to import monthly input of specific component? / How to import Bonus?

To import bonus in bulk, please follow the path mentioned below:

**Path:** Login to cloud > Payroll > Import > Monthly Input > Monthly Input Import > Download Sample Monthly Input Import and make changes in the Excel sheet as per your requirement > Select Category > Add/Select Setting name > Select ‘Bonus’ component from Employee earning > Fill the component Bonus values from the Excel sheet > Fill the import Month, Year, start row & end row values as per your Excel sheet > Select employee code column from Excel > Save settings > Import Template > Upload file<br>

**Step 1:** Login to cloud portal, go to ‘Payroll’ menu, select ‘Import’ from the sub-menu and click on ‘Monthly Input’.

**Step 2:** Select ‘monthly Input Import’ from ‘Excel Input Import Template’ drop down, Download the ‘Sample Monthly Input Import’, and make necessary changes from the downloaded sample Excel.

**Note-** The downloaded Excel file will be visible in your system. You can make changes and alter it as per your need.

**Step 3**: Select ‘category and select the ‘setting Name’ from the drop-down or add the ‘Setting Name’.

**Step 4:** Select ‘Bonus’ from ‘Employee Earning’, Fill the ‘Component’ values from the Excel sheet you want to upload.

**Note:** In case if you cannot find ‘Bonus’ component in ‘Employee Earning’, then please refer the link below to add bonus component in employee earning and set the ‘Behavior’ as ‘Include in Monthly Input’.

**Step 5:** Fill the ‘Import Month’, ‘Import Year’, ‘Start row & End row’ column values as per your Excel sheet, and fill the ‘Employee Code Column’ component as per your Excel Sheet.

**Step 6:** Select ‘Save Settings’, go to on ‘Import Templates’ to upload the 'Excel sheet' from your system and click on ‘Upload File’.

**Note:** Please ‘Save Settings’ before uploading the file else the changes made might not get saved.

### 2. How to add arrear amount in bulk in system?

To add arrear amount in bulk you can do it through Monthly Input Import option for that you can refer to the link below:\
Path: Log in cloud portal > Payroll > Import > Monthly Input > Download Sample file and edit > Select category > Add New Setting > Import Month > Select the edited sample file > Mention Started and ending row > Sheet Name > Employee Code column name > Select the Earning component from clicking right side folder > Map the column > Save the Settings > Import Template > Upload

Step 1: Log in to the cloud portal, navigate to the 'Payroll' menu, go to the 'Import' tab, and select the 'Monthly Input' option.

Step 2: Click on ‘Sample monthly input import’ to Download sample file, it will be saved in your system. Edit this file with the required monthly input data you want to add and also add the arrear amount column along with the values in the Excel sheet downloaded.

Step 3: Select the appropriate 'Category' and click on ‘Add New’ to add the setting name then select ‘Add’.

Step 4: Define the import parameters such as Select the 'Import Month', Choose the edited sample file to be uploaded, Specify the 'Started Row' and 'Ending Row' corresponding to the data in your file, Enter the exact 'Sheet Name', Provide the ‘Employee Code column' as it appears in your file.

Step 5: Click the folder icon (Employee Earning or Employee Deduction), on the right to choose components column (like Lop days, week off day), and select the matching column name from your file.

&#x20;Step 7: Once all columns are mapped correctly click on, 'Save Settings', After the setting is successfully saved, click ‘Import Templates’ to 'Upload the Excel file' from your system to complete the import process and then click on ‘Upload’.

### 3. Monthly input is showing error?

To import bonus in bulk, please follow the path mentioned below:

**Step 1:** Login to cloud portal, go to ‘Payroll’ menu, select ‘Import’ from the sub-menu and click on ‘Monthly Input’.

**Step 2:** Select ‘monthly Input Import’ from ‘Excel Input Import Template’ drop down, Download the ‘Sample Monthly Input Import’, and make necessary changes from the downloaded sample Excel.

**Step 3**: Select ‘category and select the ‘setting Name’ from the drop-down or add the ‘Setting Name’.

**Step 4:** Select ‘Bonus’ from ‘Employee Earning’, Fill the ‘Component’ values from the Excel sheet you want to upload.

**Step 5:** Fill the ‘Import Month’, ‘Import Year’, ‘Start row & End row’ column values as per your Excel sheet, and fill the ‘Employee Code Column’ component as per your Excel Sheet.
