### 1. What to do if I am unable to log into the ESS portal?

To log into the ESS portal ensure that you are using the correct ‘Company Code’, ‘Employee Code’ and the ‘Password’.

If you are still unable to log into the ESS portal, contact your Admin or HR for your user rights and login credentials.

Note: Also check if the password is generated for the employee.

### 6. Why is employee unable to log into the ESS portal?

If an employee is unable to log into the ESS portal, check the following factors.

1\) Company code and employee code are correct\
2\) The password entered is correct\
3\) There is no space in any field while entering log in detail

### 7. How to give ESS mobile app password and log in id to employees?

Employee should use their employee id or employee code as their log in id.

### 8. What to do if a module is not visible or available in the employee’s ESS portal?

To give employees access modules esure the factors listed below

### 9. How to deactivate the employee’s ESS portal or ESS mobile app for a few days?

The ESS Web and mobile App login for employee can’t be deactivated for a few days. The self-service portal or app can only be deactivated at the time of employee separation.

### 10. How to Temporary Lock the ESS ID Password of Employee?

The employee ESS ID password cannot be temporarily blocked. However, it can be made [inactive](https://docs.pockethrms.com/faqs/ess-portal#id-9.-how-to-deactivate-the-employees-ess-portal-or-ess-mobile-app-for-a-few-days) at the time of separation only.\
Alternatively, you can change the self-service role of that employee with such user who don’t have any rights of request or view. The employee will only be able to view the dashboard.

### 13. How to approve attendance regularizations via cloud portal?

&#x20;Approval for attendance regularization cannot be processed within the cloud interface; therefore, requests must be handled via the Admin ESS portal.\
