1. What to do if I am unable to log into the ESS portal?
To log into the ESS portal ensure that you are using the correct ‘Company Code’, ‘Employee Code’ and the ‘Password’.
If you are still unable to log into the ESS portal, contact your Admin or HR for your user rights and login credentials.
Note: Also check if the password is generated for the employee.

3. Employees are unable to mark attendance from the ESS mobile app?
Please check the following factors.
In case of face recognition for attendance, employee’s selfie is approved by the HR.

4. Why is employee/staff unable to apply leave/permission/onduty/attendance regularisation in ESS or not able to view/see the tab for request of leave/permission/onduty/attendance regularisation?
Employee/staff is not able to apply for leave/permission/onduty/attendance regularisation request because the respective tab is not visible?
If Employee/staff can’t apply leave/permission/onduty/attendance regularisation in ESS or not able to view/see the tab for request of leave/permission/onduty/attendance regularisation check the factors listed below
Employee self-service role is set
Shift is assigned to employee
In role allocation respective options are ticked.

6. Why is employee unable to log into the ESS portal?
If an employee is unable to log into the ESS portal, check the following factors.
1) Company code and employee code are correct 2) The password entered is correct 3) There is no space in any field while entering log in detail

7. How to give ESS mobile app password and log in id to employees?
Employee should use their employee id or employee code as their log in id.
If employee has forgotten their password you can reset their password
If you haven’t generated password for employee yet, you can generate password and send it to them via email

8. What to do if a module is not visible or available in the employee’s ESS portal?
To give employees access modules esure the factors listed below
The self-service role assigned to employee in their profile correctly
The enable the module for employee’s role through role allocation.
