  • Employees self-service role is allocated correctly

  • Role allocation for the module is done correctly.

  • Ensure that employee entered correct date range in their application.

2. How to approve or reject or revoke leave request from the ESS portal as manager?

Path: ESS Manager Login>Leave>Approve> Approved Leave Revoke> Accept/Reject >Save

Step 1: Log into the ESS portal with admin’s or HR’s credentials, go to the β€˜Leave’ menu and click on the β€˜Approval’ submenu.

Step 2: Go to the β€˜HR Approved Leave Revoke’ tab. Select the respective radio button under the β€˜Approve’ or β€˜Reject’ column as required, and click on the β€˜Save’ button. The leave revoke request will be approved or rejected accordingly.

3. How to Approve Leaves on Behalf or Absence of the Approval Manager?

Path: Admin ESS Portal > Leave > Approval > More > HR Approval > Select the radio button of employees for whom you want to accept the leave > save> ok

Step 1: Log into the ESS portal with Admin rights, select β€˜Leave’ menu and click on the β€˜Approval’ submenu.

Step 2: Go to the β€˜More’ tab and select β€˜HR Approval’ from the dropdown.

Step 3: Select the radio button from the β€˜Approve’ column for the respective employee/employees for whom you want to approve the leave and click on the β€˜Save’ button.

Step 4: Click on β€˜Ok’ to confirm the approval of leave for the employee/employees.

4. How to Reject Leave of Employees?

Path: Manager ESS Portal > Leave > Approval > Leave >The Pending leave of employee will be visible > Tick on reject radio button > save to unapproved or reject the leave

Step 1: Login to manager’s ESS portal, go to β€˜Leave’ menu and select β€˜Approval’ sub-menu

Step 2: Select β€˜Leave’ tab, to view the pending leave of employees. Tick on β€˜Reject radio button’ and click on β€˜Save’ to reject the leave of employees.

5. How Can We Approve the Leave Request of an Employee Who has Left the Organization, while their Reporting Manager has also Left the Company?

Path: Log in as Admin in the ESS portal >> Leave >> Approval >> HR Approval >> Employee Code >> Manager Code >> Search >> Click on β€˜Accept’ radio button >> Save >> Ok

Step 1: Login to Admin ESS portal, go to β€˜Leave’ Menu and click on β€˜Approval’ submenu.

Step 2: Select β€˜HR Approval’ tab, fill the β€˜Employee code’ of the employee who has left and you want to approve the leave for, and also fill the β€˜Manager Code’ of the concerned manager who has also left the organization.

Step 3: Click on the β€˜Accept’ radio button, select β€˜Save’ and click on β€˜Ok’ to confirm the changes.

6. Can Attendance Regularisation Requests be Approved or Rejected from the ESS Admin Portal?

The attendance regularisation can be approve/reject from ESS admin portal

Path: ESS Login > leave > approval > click on more > attendance regularisation admin > if for single employee select employee code > select date range from to as per requirement > search > action the entry approve/reject > save.

Step 1: Login to ESS admin account, go to β€˜Leave’ in the menu, and select β€˜Approval’ from sub-menu.

Step 2: Go to β€˜More’ tab and select β€˜Attendance Regularization Admin’ from the drop-down.

Step 3: Fill β€˜Employee Code’ if you want to approve or reject the attendance for a single employee, else keep it blank, in case you want view the regularization requests for all the employees who have applied the regularization.

Step 4: Select β€˜Date Range’ as per your requirement, and click on β€˜Search’. After clicking search the list of employees who applied for regularization within the selected date range will appear.

Step 5: Select the β€˜Approve’/ β€˜Reject’ radio button as per your requirement, and click on β€˜Save’.

7. How to check leave applied date of employee?

To check leave applied date of employee, follow the path and process mentioned below:

Path: Go to ESS > Leave > Approval > Leave Tab

Step 1: Login to the ESS portal using managers credentials, under the β€˜Leave’ menu, select β€˜Approval’ sub-menu.

Step 2: Then click on the β€˜Leave’ tab.

You can view the details of leave applied and the date on which the leave is applied as well.

8. How to change the week off from manager id?

Path: ESS Portal login > Leave > approval > More > roaster management > select date range > click on view > click on + icon > select required shift > save.

Step 1: Log into the ESS portal with your manager credentials. Log into the ESS portal, go to the β€˜Leave’ menu and click on the β€˜Approval’ submenu.

Step 2: Click on the β€˜More’ at the upper right-hand corner of the screen and click on the β€˜Roster Management’ subtab.

Step 3: Select the β€˜Date Range’ and click on the β€˜View’ button.

Step 4: Click on the β€˜+’ button next to the β€˜Week Off’ of the employee and select the required shift.

Step 5: Once you have selected the required shift on weekend click on the β€˜Save’ button and that shift will be assigned to employee for the week off.
