1. How to delete shift from the attendance shift settings?

Path: Cloud Portal > Settings > Attendance > Shift Details > click respective ‘Delete Icon’

Step 1: Log into the cloud portal, go to the ‘Settings’ menu and under the ‘Attendance’ tab click on the ‘Shift Details’ subtab.

Step 2: Click on the respective ‘Delete Icon’ and the shift will be deleted.

Note: If the shift has been ever assigned to any active or inactive employee it will not be deleted.

2. How to Mention the Correct Shift in Excel When Uploading/Importing Shift Schedules in Bulk for an Employee?

To import the shift schedule file for bulk employee you can check the shift details to add the correct shift name in the sheet.

Path: Cloud> Settings > Attendance > Shift details > the available shift details can be seen in this page, and you can copy and paste the same to excel whichever shift required

Step 1: Login to cloud portal, go to ‘Settings’ menu, select ‘Attendance’ tab and click on ‘Shift Details’. You can view the available shift details on this page and copy them to Excel as needed.

Note-This ensures that the system correctly recognizes and applies the shift during the bulk upload process.

3. At what time does the general shift in working hours start?

To check the shift timing refer the process below:

Path: Cloud portal>Settings>Attendance>Shift Details>click on ‘Edit Icon’ for the shift>edit timing>Save

Step 1: Log into the cloud portal, go to the ‘Settings’ menu and under the ‘Attendance’ tab click on the ‘Shift Details’ subtab. List of shifts will appear.

Step 2: Find the shift for which you want to change timing. Click on the respective ‘Edit Icon’ and a pop-up will open.

Step 3: In the ‘Shift Master’ pop-up you can edit ‘From Time’, ‘To Time’ in the respective fields and click on the save button. The changes in the time for the shift will be saved accordingly.

4. How to reset or add new shifts?

To Reset the shift:

Path: Cloud login > go to Settings > Attendance > Shift Details > click on Edit

Step 1: Log in to the Cloud portal and navigate to ‘Settings’.

Step 2: Select the ‘Attendance’ module from the menu, and click on ‘Shift Details’ to view the list of configured shifts.

Step 3: Locate the specific shift you wish to modify and click on the ‘Edit’ button (often represented by a pencil icon) to make changes.

For creating new shift:

Path: Cloud>Settings>Attendance>Shift Details>click on (+) icon>fill in details>Save

Step 1: Log into the cloud portal, go to the ‘Settings’ menu and under the ‘Attendance’ tab click on the ‘Shift Details’ subtab.

Step 2: Then click on the ‘+’ icon towards the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Fill in the required details such as Shift Name, Time range, Import time range, Status and other required details in the respective fields as required and click on the Save’ button. The Shift settings will be added accordingly.

Note: Fill in the time details according to the 24 hours clock format.
