# Cross Company Manager

### 1. How one can become a reporting manager of another company?

To assign an employee as a manager of another entity you can do it from Cross Company manager option.\
To enable this setting follow the path below:

**Path:** Login to cloud portal > Settings > Organization > Cross company manager > Click on the + button > Name the setting > Select the Company from the list > Update.

**Step 1:** Login to the cloud portal, go to ‘Settings’ menu, under the ‘Organization’ tab, select ‘Cross Company Manager’ option.

**Step 2:** Click on the ‘Plus (+) icon’ on the right corner, fill the ‘Name’, Select ‘Company’ from the list, and Click on ‘Update’.

This will enable the managers to set as reporting manager or approval matrix manager for the modules present in the system,
