1. How to add a leave type for employee category?
Step 1: Log into the cloud, portal go to the βSettingsβ menu and under the βLeaveβ tab click on the βLeave Definitionβ subtab. Click on the β+β towards the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Step 2: Enter the details such as Leave Name, Description, Opening, Leave Category and other details as required.
Step 3: Select the βCategoryβ for which you want to add this leave type and click on the βSaveβ button.

Path: Cloud Portal > Settings > Leave > Leave Definition > click β+β icon > as details as required> select Category for which you want to add the leave type > Leave

2. How to activate or enable a leave type for a particular category?
Path: Cloud Portal > Settings > Leave > Leave Definition > click βEdit Iconβ > tick required Category > Save
Step 1: Log into the cloud portal, go to the βSettingsβ menu and under the βLeaveβ tab click on the βLeave Definitionβ subtab. Click on the βEdit Iconβ for the respective leave type.

Step 2: In the Leave Definition pop-up tick the checkbox of the Category for which you want to enable the concerned leave type and click on the βSaveβ button. The leave type will be activated for the employee category accordingly.

3.How to show any leave type in employee profile cloud and ESS portal?
Path: Cloud login > Settings > Leave > Leave definition > Select leave type which you want to include by clicking on βEdit Iconβ > In category section tick the category of the employee for whom you want to show the leave > Save
Step 1: Login to cloud portal, go to βSettingsβ in the menu, select βLeaveβ tab, and click on βLeave Definitionβ.

Step 2: Click on the βEdit Iconβ of the leave type which you want to include.

Step 3: In category section tick the category of the employee for whom you want to show the leave. Scroll down and click βsaveβ.

4. How to Check or Withdraw/Remove Leave Type?
To check or withdraw the leave type you can delete the same by following the path below:
Path: Cloud login > Settings > Leave > Leave Definition > Delete/Edit Particular Leave type
Step 1: Login to cloud portal, go to βSettingsβ menu, and select βLeaveβ from tab.

Step 2: Select βLeave Definitionβ and click on βEdit iconβ to edit leave/Check the leave type or click on βDelete Iconβ to remove the leave type.

5. How to reset leave for all staff? How to reset leave for all employees?
To reset leave type, follow the path and process mentioned below:
Path: Cloud login > Settings > Leave > Leave Definition > Click on edit icon > edit the leave definition > Save.
Step 1: Login to cloud portal, go to βSettingsβ menu and select βLeaveβ tab.

Step 2: Select βLeave Definitionβ option, and click in the βEdit Iconβ.

Step 3: Edit or make changes in the βLeave definitionβ as per your requirement and click on βSaveβ.
