# Holiday

### 1. How to update or add government (Govt) holidays in Pocket HRMS?

**Path**: Cloud Portal>Settings>Leave>Holiday>click ‘+’ Icon>Select Date>Description>If want the restricted/optional holiday (Yes)/if not select(no)>Save

**Step 1:** Log into the cloud portal, go to the ‘Settings’ menu and under ‘Leave’ tab click on the ‘Holiday’ subtab. Click on the ‘+’ icon towards the upper right corner of the screen.

**Note**: If the holiday is configured in your company category, location or cost centre wise kindly select the required option from the respective dropdown on the Holiday Settings page.

**Step 2:** Select Date, Description and choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for the ‘Restricted/Option Holiday’ option as required and click on the ‘Save’ button. Holiday will be added accordingly.

### 2. How To Update Holiday for an Employee?

To update a holiday for an employee, first verify the holiday configuration settings. These settings can be defined at different levels—Employee-wise, Company-wise, Category-wise, or Cost Center-wise. Based on how the configuration is set in your system, the appropriate holiday list can be added.

### 3. How to delete holiday list?

**Path:** Cloud > Setting > Leave > Holiday > If holiday set Cost center, location wise, employee wise select accordingly > Click on delete icon from the list which you want to delete

**Step 1:** Login to cloud portal, go to ‘Settings’ in the menu, select ‘Leave’ from the tab, and click on ‘Holiday’.

**Step 2:** Click on ‘Delete icon’ of the holidays (If holiday set Cost center, location wise, employee wise select accordingly) which you want to delete from holiday list.

**Note:** Delete all the entries if you want to delete the entire holiday list.

**Step 3:** Click ‘Ok’ to confirm deleting the holiday entry.
