This document describes the release notes for major and minor enhancements released for Pocket HRMS in the month of January 2024.
For each travel request the system will assign a unique 'Travel ID,' which acts as a digital signature to track its journey from initiation to approval. This ID ensures smooth monitoring, offering a clear reference point throughout the request process, ensuring precision and efficiency until formal approval.
The expense eligibility feature lets users edit certain values in an expense record while keeping expense types fixed. Users can adjust numerical values like amounts or quantities for accuracy and customization, without altering predefined expense categories.
Now we have a self-service permission option integrated into the manager/admin approval page. This provides managers and administrators greater convenience by allowing them to easily approve permission requests directly from the interface, simplifying the process.
The login screen now includes a 'Show/Hide Password' option for improved user experience. Users can toggle between revealing and hiding their password as they type it in, helping them ensure accuracy and reducing login errors.
We introduce a key administrative function for project management. Admin users can now directly delete auto-approved project entries from the admin panel. This enhancement offers improved control and flexibility in project administration by allowing efficient removal of auto-approved entries.
For example: An employee has no approval manager
The Person with admin approval credits can delete these entries with ease.
The Auto Time Sheet Project now incorporates Leave settings directly within the Project Menu. Approved leaves are seamlessly integrated into timesheet entries, while unconfigured leave settings are excluded. This integration simplifies reporting and tracking by aligning with the existing timesheet integration with leave.
The sandwich leave setting now includes LOP leave within the leave deduction options. You can select the LOP leaves with ease from the dropdown and improve leave management.
Managers can efficiently assign shifts and week offs to employees using Bulk Import feature. Instead of manual entry, they can download a template for the selected date and make assignments as needed. The feature includes a grocery sheet listing configured shifts for easy selection.
Roster Management's Cross-Company Integration allows managers to combine multiple companies, assigning shifts and days off to employees across different entities. It supports bulk import and seamlessly integrates with the shift schedule approval process for efficient approvals.
Now, in the hiring module, you can upload resumes in both MS Word along with PDF formats, providing more options for applicants and hiring personnel. This allows individuals to submit their resumes seamlessly in either format, making the recruitment process within the system more inclusive and versatile.
