Follow the steps below to upload Form 16 for all employees.
Download Part A and Part B of Form 16 from TRACES
Prepare the Files
Use the Utility to Upload Form 16
Log in to TRACES using the employer credentials (you’ll need the TAN login).
Go to the ‘Downloads’ and click on the ‘Form 16’ option.
Download Part A and Part B of Form 16 for each employee without Digital Signature.
Ensure both Part A and Part B are correctly downloaded in PDF format
Keep the digital signature dongle ready
Make sure the files Part A files and the Part B files are saved in the separate folders.
PAN number should be updated for all the employees in the Cloud portal.
Once you have Part A and Part B are ready, you can let us know to use the utility.
‘Select Company’ for ‘Part A’ and ‘Part B’ select folders from the respective fields and click on the ‘Sign And Upload’ button.
Note: For utility installation, we recommend using a system where the digital signature is already installed.
We will update the utility to upload the Form 16 documents to the employee portal, so employees can access them directly from their ESS portal.
Employee can log into the ESS portal, go to the ‘Profile’ menu and click on the ‘My Tax Details’ submenu
Click on the ‘From 16’ tab and the Form 16 can be downloaded from here.
