Pocket HRMS provides comprehensive Asset Management to upgrade your experience and give you greater efficiency. This guide provides step-by-step instructions and intuitive interface to simplify asset management and ensure streamlined processes and enhanced productivity.

With the help of this guide, you will learn how to create, categorize and assign assets to employees, and generate detailed reports tailored to your organization's needs.

How to add Asset Category?

Log into the pocket HRMS cloud portal and click on the ‘Settings’ menu and click on the ‘HR’ tab.

Scroll down to select the ‘Asset Info’ submenu to view asset categories.

Under asset info you can see existing asset categories and click on the ‘+’ to create a new asset category.

An ‘Asset Info’ pop-up will appear where you need to enter ‘Title’ and ‘Notification Email’ to create a new asset category. That way you will experience systematic asset management. A notification will be sent to this email every time an asset is assigned to an employee, the person in charge will always stay updated.

Once you click on the ‘Save’ button a new category will be created which will automatically appear under ‘Asset Info’.

How to add Assets?

To view all the assets in the company you need to click on ‘Settings’ menu and under the ‘HR’ tab and click on the ‘Asset List’ submenu.

If you want to create a new asset you can click on the ‘+’ button.

‘Update Asset’ pop-up will appear which allows you to enter various details about the asset.

Choose an asset category from the drop-down so you can add a new asset under it.

You also need to enter the details such as ‘Asset Name’, ‘Asset Tag’ and ’Model Name’. This makes every asset unique and helps to easily identify the asset.

You can select the ‘Asset Status’ from the drop-down. You can also segregate assets here depending on whether it is broken or have been requested which further improves the asset management process.

You can also add details such as ‘Serial Number’ and ‘Vendor Name’ to further increase accuracy.

You can also add ‘Purchase Date’, and ‘Default Location’ and also add specific ‘Description’ for the asset if you want. In addition to that you can easily ‘Choose File’ from your computer if you want to ‘Upload Image’ and ‘Attach Invoice’ so, you will ‘Save’ all the essential details at the same place.
