# PMS ### Manager Ratings for the Employee Managers will receive a notification once employee submits their ratings. The notifications can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Bell’ icon on the top right-hand corner of the ESS portal screen.

Managers can follow the steps given below to submit ratings for employees. **Step 1:** Click on the ‘PMS’ menu in the ESS portal and select the ‘Request’ submenu. **Step 2:** click on the ‘Employee Appraisal’ tab.

Here manager can check the status of the rating submission by employees **Step 3:** Click on the ‘Rating’ button against the employee name to provide ratings.

**Step 4:** Provide ratings and comments accordingly.

**Step 5:** Add a Remark under the employee appraisal if required.
