We are thrilled to present our most remarkable updates, with enhanced user-friendly tools to elevate your HR experience. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency drives us to bring you seamless updates that transform your HR processes. For the year 2024, here are some of the most remarkable enhancements.
The sandwich leave setting now includes LOP leave within the leave deduction options. You can select the LOP leaves with ease from the dropdown and improve leave management.
Now you can do bulk LOP credit input, making it easier than ever to manage Loss of Pay. No more manual entry for each employee - simply enter credits in bulk for multiple employees at once. This saves time, improves efficiency, and enhances workflow management. As an HR professional or organization, you'll enjoy smoother processes and increased productivity.
The week-off setting is now more flexible than ever before. Now you have more control and select whether the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th occurrence of a day (like Sunday) should be your week-off for a certain date range.
Once you save the settings, your choices will be clearly shown on the screen for easy reference and full transparency.
Admins can now restrict employees from applying for Comp Off leave after a specific timeframe from the Comp Off date. That ensures policy compliance and prevents misuse of leave.
For example, If the Comp Off date is 13th September and the limit is 30 days, leave can only be applied between 13th September and 12th October. Requests outside this range will be denied.
The ‘In Out Detail’ report now features two new columns, 'IN geolocation' and 'OUT geolocation,'. These columns show where employees enter and exit specified areas, aiding in tracking their movements. This enhancement offers a detailed overview of employee activities based on geolocation data, enhancing monitoring.
We've upgraded the late mark customization to now include deductions for late days, which are determined by shift settings and prioritize different types of leave. Admin/HR can now save specific settings for various shifts, enabling them to prioritize the deduction of certain types of leave before others.
Pocket HRMS offers flexible settings of leave deductions based on employees' attendance punch times. You can do the following customizations with ease.
Define auto deduction criteria for individual shifts
Set multiple time ranges of deductions for each shift
Set priorities with multiple leave types for deductions for each time range
Delete settings for individual time ranges without disturbing other settings
Delete all the custom settings for the particular shift when you no longer need it
These settings provide better control and efficiency for attendance and leave management.
Sandwich Leave deductions now follow the order in which employees apply for them and not the predefined order. If an employee lacks the balance for a particular leave type, Loss of Pay (LOP) will be applied.
Example,
Employee requests 'Paid Leave' for Friday and 'Sick Leave' for Monday.
Resulting leave pattern: Paid Leave, Week off, Week off, Sick Leave.
Scenarios:
If the remaining Paid Leave balance is 2 or more - Both week off are deducted as Paid Leave.
If the remaining Paid Leave balance is 1 -First week off as Paid Leave; the system checks Sick Leave for the second week off.
If there is no remaining Sick Leave balance - The second week off will be considered LOP.
We have introduced a new module named Employee Access. Here, the managers have been given an option to raise requests on behalf of their subordinates to grant or revoke access on various events like New Joining, Promotion, Separation, etc. Access forms can be created in Form Master and the requests can be raised by Managers in ESS and approved by the IT Team.
The Appraisal module has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility and configuration options for the Bell Curve functionality.
Rating Type Configuration
Users can select ‘Scale’ with a default range of 1-5 or ‘Weightage’ which displays the Grade % as the rating type for appraisals.
Define Bell Curve Screen
The graph dynamically updates based on the first three values entered. Users can display either Rating Scale or Grade % in the first column. Strict validation ensures the first three values are in ascending order, with the total Expected % equaling 100%.
Rating Normalization Screen
The Rating Normalization screen will now adapt its columns based on the selected rating type (Scale or Grade %). Normalization calculations align with the chosen configuration. An additional "Count to be Normalized" column provides further insights.
Our new training period configurations allow you flexibility to add training period before probation and ensures that employee receives adequate training with better user experience.
To set a training period by defining the ‘End Date’ as the ‘Joining Date’ is considered as the start date.
Probation begins right after the training period ends.
Extend the training by adding more days.
Both the employee and manager will be notified of the new end date.
Pocket HRMS will block the separation if the employee has any pending requests for
Leaves, On-Duty, Regularizations, Expenses, Reimbursements, or Loans. The system will display the 10 most recent pending requests in each category and also provide you with an option to download an Excel report. That makes the process of reviewing pending requests and taking the necessary steps to proceed with the separation, quick and effortless.
Experience the seamless exit process from the mobile app. Employees can now submit their resignation requests directly from their mobile apps. Managers and Department Heads can approve or reject these requests right from their phones as well. This feature is available on both Android and iOS, and it works just like it does on the web. Providing consistent & uniform experience.
We’ve created a flexible approval process for job offers. The system allows two options:
Serial Approval: Both the Job Offer Approval Manager and Department Head approve the offer one after the other.
Single Approval: Either the Job Offer Approval Manager or Department Head can approve the offer on their own.
With customizable approval settings, multiple managers or department heads can be included. Each approver can:
Approve the offer as is.
Reject the offer.
Modify details like the offer letter, salary, or validity before approving.
The final approver can send the offer directly to the candidate, without needing further input from the recruiter.
We’ve introduced a new Header/Footer feature for Recruitment Email and CTC Templates, allowing users to choose how to display headers and footers in generated PDFs:
No Header/Footer: PDFs will be created without any headers or footers.
System-Generated Header/Footer: Automatically includes a header with the company logo and name, and a footer with the company name and address.
Custom Header/Footer: Users can upload their own header and footer images to be included in the PDFs.
The e-POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) module is now available on web and mobile. It allows female employees to report sexual harassment incidents at the workplace, either for themselves or co-workers, with an option to keep their identity anonymous. A Complaint Committee can be set up, including a Committee Head and members, who can monitor and take necessary actions through the ESS portal.
We’ve created a new, all-in-one employee dashboard that gives a clear view of everything important. Employees can easily check their profile details, shift schedules, upcoming events, leave history, monthly attendance, and company news. With a fresh, easy-to-use design, we’ve also made it simpler for employees to apply for leave, view salary details, and connect with their managers.
