Steps for adding a new candidate

Introduction

This page provides the steps for adding a new candidate into the system.

Pre-requisites

Note: Kindly contact your Admin/HR for rights if you are not able to perform the steps below.

How to add a new candidate?

Step 1: Select โ€˜Hireโ€™ and then โ€˜Candidateโ€™ from the left side menu.

Step 2: Select โ€˜Candidatesโ€™ tab at the top.

Step 3: Click on the โ€˜+ Addโ€™ button to the top right corner.

Step 4: Enter the required details in each tab from โ€˜Basic Detailsโ€™, โ€˜Education & Work Experienceโ€™, to the โ€˜Apply for Jobโ€™ tab.

Note: All the published jobs will be displayed under the โ€˜Select Job Titleโ€™ drop-down menu.

Step 5: Once all details are entered, you can click on the โ€˜Saveโ€™ button to proceed.

Note:

  • Candidates who have applied through the โ€˜Careerโ€™ page will also be displayed in the โ€˜Candidatesโ€™ tab and filtered under โ€˜All Candidatesโ€™.

  • The Recruiter and Admin have viewing access rights for all candidates, while the Manager can only view โ€˜My candidatesโ€™ or the candidates uploaded by them.

How to perform any action on a candidate?

  • You can click on the โ€˜Disqualifyโ€™ icon to disqualify any candidate from the Job Process.

  • You can click on the โ€˜Editโ€™ icon to modify the details of any candidate. You can click on the candidateโ€™s unique code to check their profile and perform any action on the candidate.

  • You can also move the candidate between different stages by selecting the drop-down menu and selecting the relevant stage.

  • You can schedule an interview with the candidate by clicking on the โ€˜Schedule Interviewโ€™ icon, filling in the required details, and clicking on the โ€˜Send Mailโ€™ button. The candidate will receive an email with the interview link.

  • You can share the candidateโ€™s details with a specific manager or an employee for feedback by clicking on the โ€˜Share Candidateโ€™ icon, filling in the required details, and clicking on the โ€˜Send Mailโ€™ button. The manager will receive an email for the same and the candidate will be added in the shared managerโ€™s โ€˜My Candidateโ€™ page.

  • You can also move or copy the candidate to any other job profile by clicking on the โ€˜Copy and Move Candidateโ€™ button. You can select the new profile and click on either the โ€˜Move Candidateโ€™ or โ€˜Copy Candidateโ€™ button to move or copy the candidate respectively.
