Steps for adding a new candidate

Introduction

This page provides the steps for adding a new candidate into the system.

Pre-requisites

Note: Kindly contact your Admin/HR for rights if you are not able to perform the steps below.

How to add a new candidate?

Step 1: Select ‘Hire’ and then ‘Candidate’ from the left side menu.

Step 2: Select ‘Candidates’ tab at the top.

Step 3: Click on the ‘+ Add’ button to the top right corner.

Step 4: Enter the required details in each tab from ‘Basic Details’, ‘Education & Work Experience’, to the ‘Apply for Job’ tab.

Note: All the published jobs will be displayed under the ‘Select Job Title’ drop-down menu.

Step 5: Once all details are entered, you can click on the ‘Save’ button to proceed.

Note:

  • Candidates who have applied through the ‘Career’ page will also be displayed in the ‘Candidates’ tab and filtered under ‘All Candidates’.

  • The Recruiter and Admin have viewing access rights for all candidates, while the Manager can only view ‘My candidates’ or the candidates uploaded by them.

How to perform any action on a candidate?

  • You can click on the ‘Disqualify’ icon to disqualify any candidate from the Job Process.

  • You can click on the ‘Edit’ icon to modify the details of any candidate. You can click on the candidate’s unique code to check their profile and perform any action on the candidate.

  • You can also move the candidate between different stages by selecting the drop-down menu and selecting the relevant stage.

  • You can schedule an interview with the candidate by clicking on the ‘Schedule Interview’ icon, filling in the required details, and clicking on the ‘Send Mail’ button. The candidate will receive an email with the interview link.

  • You can share the candidate’s details with a specific manager or an employee for feedback by clicking on the ‘Share Candidate’ icon, filling in the required details, and clicking on the ‘Send Mail’ button. The manager will receive an email for the same and the candidate will be added in the shared manager’s ‘My Candidate’ page.

  • You can also move or copy the candidate to any other job profile by clicking on the ‘Copy and Move Candidate’ button. You can select the new profile and click on either the ‘Move Candidate’ or ‘Copy Candidate’ button to move or copy the candidate respectively.
