The system gives priority to the HR over the manager for confirming an employee. Hence, in case the employee disagrees with probation extension, the request flows to HR. HR can either confirm the employee or extend their probation period.
If the HR confirms the employee, the system sends an email notification to the designated manager based on the notification settings. If the HR extends the probation period, no changes will be done by the system.
Note - Kindly contact your Admin/ HR for rights if you are not able to perform the steps below.
Step 1: Log into the ESS portal and go to Confirm > HR Approval.
Step 2: Select the ‘HR Approval’ tab.
Step 3: The employees disagreeing with their manager will be listed. Select the ‘Manager Status’ button.
Step 4: Enter the remarks and select either the ‘Confirm’ or ‘Probation Extended’ option from the ‘Final Recommendation’ drop-down menu.
Step 5: Select the ‘Submit’ button to save the employee status.
Note:
The Admin or HR can view and download the confirmation letter of the employees from the ‘Employee Documents’ panel in the Cloud Portal by following the path:
Employee > Employee List > (Select the Employee from the Employee List) > Profile > Employee Document.
