Pocket HRMS has always been dedicated to providing our users with the best possible features and continuously improving the user experience. Aligning with our commitment to being the best in the company here we showcase some major and minor improvements in March 2023, to enhance the efficiency further.
Here is the key highlight of the features we are going to discuss in the blog,
1. Streamline Employee Confirmation
With our new update, remarks and recommendations of ‘Manager 1’ will be visible to ‘Manager2’ about confirming employees or extending their probation period. That keeps the transparency for the level 2 manager and helps them to make an informed decision. It contributes to effective probation management ensuring that the company has the right employees for efficiency
For example, if an employee's performance needs improvement, 'Manager 2' can
extend the probation period based on the feedback from 'Manager 1,' ensuring that the right decisions are made for the company's growth.
2. Half-Day Leave Tracker / Effortless Half-Day Tracking
This update makes tracking partial-day leaves and attendance much easier! If an employee takes half a day off, we display '0.5' in the leave column. Similarly, the 'Physical Present' column shows '0.5' when they are present for the other half of the day. This simple update ensures accurate leave records and attendance tracking, ensuring employees use their entitled leave days effectively.
Muster’s report showcases a present-day 0.5 for his attendance.
ESS employee portal showcases No. of days 0.5 for half-day leave.
3. Comprehensive Time Card Tracking
This feature helps you to easily download a detailed staff time card report. This report includes essential employee information like their Shift Time, Punch Time, Late By, and any additional Remarks about their shift including Absent and Present, making tracking and managing workforce attendance a breeze.
4. Flexible Late Arrival Deductions
HR can set rules specific to the different time ranges in the late arrivals. This means there can be different rules for the deductions for corresponding time ranges.
For example, if an employee is late by 15 minutes, half an hour will be deducted. If an employee is late by 30 minutes, one hour will be deducted from the total working hours. These rules can be seamlessly applied to payroll calculations, ensuring accurate deductions.
HR professionals can use this feature to enforce fair and consistent late arrival deductions. Setting specific rules helps in ensuring a level playing field and maintaining discipline in the workplace. By automatically applying the defined rules to latecomers, payroll calculations become precise, saving time and resources for the business.
5. Accessible Ratings and Feedback
Using the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal, employees can view detailed reports on the ratings they receive and download them, providing transparency and feedback at their fingertips.
Making ratings transparent and accessible to employees, makes it easier for employees to understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
6. Easy to Access HR/Admin Ratings
Now Admin/HR can easily download and review employee ratings given by them to employees from the Cloud Portal. This feature simplifies performance evaluation, making it convenient to track and assess employee performance.
By analyzing ratings given to employees over time HR can conduct data-driven performance reviews, enabling them to make informed decisions about training, promotions, and recognition programs.
7. Simplified Filters for Attendance Export
Our new update allows HR/Admin to easily filter and generate monthly attendance reports. You can filter by various criteria like job title, department, location, bank name, and more. Once filtered, the reports can be exported effortlessly, simplifying attendance tracking for your team.
Filtered attendance data based on location or cost center, HR can identify areas with fluctuating attendance, enabling them to redistribute resources effectively. This ensures that all departments have adequate staffing levels, enhancing productivity and customer service.
8. Customizable Late Mark Indicator
Our latest update makes it easier to track late marks. Late times are shown in black, but if someone exceeds allowed late marks (configurable based on company rules), it's displayed in red. This customizable feature helps maintain workplace punctuality standards and makes it easier to grasp the late marks information.
The red colour indicator highlights violations, allowing HR to address attendance issues promptly. This maintains a professional work environment, setting a standard for employees and fostering a culture of accountability.
