Steps for creating and publishing a new job opening

Introduction

This page provides the steps for creating and publishing a new job opening.

Pre-requisites

Note:

  • Kindly contact your Admin/HR for rights if you are not able to perform the steps below.

  • You will be required to assign a Job Manager before proceeding.

How to create a new job opening?

Step 1: Select โ€˜Hireโ€™ and then โ€˜Jobsโ€™ from the left side menu.

Step 2: Select โ€˜Job Listโ€™ tab at the top.

Step 3: Click on the โ€˜+ Addโ€™ button to the top right corner.

Step 4: Enter the required details, upload the documents for โ€˜Job Summaryโ€™ and โ€˜Othersโ€™ if required and click on the โ€˜Save & Continueโ€™ button to proceed. The job will be added to the โ€˜Job Listโ€™ page.

Note:

  • If the โ€˜Manager Approvalโ€™ option is set, the created job will be displayed in the โ€˜Pending Approvalโ€™ modal box from where, you can check whether the job has been approved by the manager or not.

  • The newly created jobs defaults to โ€˜Unpublishedโ€™ status. Click on the โ€˜Unpublishโ€™ quick filter to view the created job and make sure to sort the list as โ€˜Newest Firstโ€™ to display the newest jobs at the top of the list.

  • You can also filter the jobs as per your requirement by clicking on the โ€˜Filterโ€™ button and clicking on the โ€˜Applyโ€™ button after setting the required parameters.

How to approve a newly created job?

Step 1: Select โ€˜Hireโ€™ and then โ€˜Jobsโ€™ from the left side menu.

Step 2: Select โ€˜Job Manager Approvalโ€™ tab at the top.

Step 3: Select the โ€˜View Detailsโ€™ button adjacent to the job.

Step 4: Enter the remarks and click on the โ€˜Approveโ€™ or โ€˜Rejectโ€™ button to approve or reject the job respectively.

How to publish a newly created job?

Step 1: Select โ€˜Hireโ€™ and then โ€˜Jobsโ€™ from the left side menu.

Step 2: Select โ€˜Job Outlineโ€™ tab at the top.

Step 3: Select the โ€˜UnPublishedโ€™ button at the top to filter the jobs that are not published.

Step 4: Select the โ€˜Publishโ€™ drop-down option adjacent to the job that you wish to publish.

Note:

  • You can publish, unpublish, and archive jobs using the steps above and selecting the corresponding option from the drop-down menu.

  • You can also click on the โ€˜Career Pageโ€™ button if you wish to view the published job.

  • You can also click on the โ€˜Add to Websiteโ€™ button if you wish to add the job to your companyโ€™s official website. You will be provided the embed code that you can paste into your website to embed the job.
