# Templates Setup

Birthday and anniversary wishes from their company make the employee feel valued and inculcate a sense of belonging to the company. It helps in retaining them for longer as well as improving their job satisfaction scores.

This section explains the steps to develop templates for quickly wishing your employees on their birthdays and anniversaries. Having this option would help in letting your team know that their teammate has a birthday and encourage them to wish that employee.

### **How to add birthday and anniversary templates?**

**Step 1:** Go to 'Settings'

**Step 2:** Select the 'HR' tab

**Step 3:** Select the 'HR - Letter' tab from the left side

**Step 4:** Select the '**+**' icon to the right to create a new template

**Step 5:** Enter the Template name now:

* For Birthday Templates, please ensure that its name starts with the phrase **'BDAYTEMPLATE'**
* For Work Anniversary Templates, please ensure that its name starts with the phrase **'WORKANNIVERSARYTEMPLATE'**
* For Marriage Anniversary Templates, please ensure that its name starts with the phrase **'WEDDINGANNIVERSARYTEMPLATE'.**

**Step 6:** Enter the rest of the details as well as the attachment and select the button 'Save Template' to save the template.
