We are thrilled to present our Monthly Update, with enhanced user-friendly tools to elevate your HR experience. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency drives us to bring you seamless updates that transform your HR processes. For the month of February, we have the following enhancements.
Monthly Count Report: More Clarity, Better Decisions
We’ve added a Monthly Count Report to the Attendance module, making it easier to track and analyse attendance.
Detailed Insights: View punch records (Biometric, Web, etc.), attendance regularization, and leave status.
Better Visibility: Easily track present and absent days for a specific period.
Flexible Data Access: Retrieve attendance data for any selected month and year.
Excel Export: Download reports in Excel for deeper analysis.
Advanced Filtering: Use multiple filters to refine report generation.
This update provides accurate and flexible attendance reporting, helping HR and management make informed decisions.


Prevent Overlapping Deductions in Sandwich Leave
Now you get an option to ensure that sandwich deduction will not be applied when ‘Working Hour’ or ‘Invalid Leave Deduction Rule’ are applicable. You can simply click the checkboxes to exclude these scenarios being calculated in the sandwich rule deduction. This removes confusion and unnecessary deductions.

Repeat Employee Detail for Better Clarity
We have added a ‘Repeat Data Format’ checkbox to enhance our monthly summary report further. Selecting this checkbox ensures that the Code, Name, Category, Department, and Designation will be replicated and displayed against all entries. So, you get a consistent and structured report, making it easier to analyze and interpret data.



Flexible Leave Deductions for Unassigned Shift
Ensure employees aren’t paid for unassigned shifts unless a leave deduction rule applies. HR/Admins can set accurate deduction rules, choose leave type (Paid/Unpaid), apply Half-Day or Full-Day deductions, and control weekend/holiday deductions. If leave is exhausted, the system deducts an alternative type. This ensures fair and accurate payroll management.

Quarterly Leave Credit Made Flexible for Mid-Joiners
The Pro-rata & Mid-Joining Leave Credit feature now supports Quarterly Frequency. This allows proportionate or fixed leave credits for mid-joiners within a quarter, ensuring flexible and fair leave allocation. The system applies either pro-rata credit or a fixed mid-joining credit, based on your settings.

Customized HR Letters Made Simple
Now along with the custom predefined template the system allows you to create custom HR letters under the newly added option ‘Others’. Selecting the template type as ‘Others’ from the dropdown allows you to name and define your own template.

Easily View Tax Details in a Pop-Up
We have changed the way an employee can view the description of the Tax Sections on their declaration page. As compared to earlier where the description was being shown in a tool tip hover, it is now shown in a pop-up enhancing the readability of the same.


Boost Action in Confirmation with Multi-Level Reminder CC
With the help of a simple drop down, you can add senior managers (Level 2, Level 3, HR, Admin) according to your company’s hierarchy to be CC’d in the 2nd and 3rd reminder emails for employee confirmation.
That means if the 1st level manager doesn’t act over the 1st reminder the selected seniors will also get notified in 2nd and 3rd reminder emails ensuring accountability and prompt action.

Approve Today, Separate on the Last Working Day
HR can now pre-approve resignation requests with a future Last Working Day (LWD) instead of waiting until the actual date. The system will automatically separate the employee on the approved LWD. For example, if the LWD is 21/03/2025, the employee will be separated on 22/03/2025 in the morning.
HR can also track Manager and Department Head approvals more efficiently with our new structured view. Additionally, they have the option to immediately separate an employee by updating the LWD to today.



Multi-Company FnF Approvals Made Easy
HRs can now assign cross-company department heads for Full & Final approvals, either individually or in bulk. Department heads will also see the company name for approvals received, keeping them well informed and improving FnF management.

Customize Career Page Branding
Now the Admin/HR can decide whether or not to show the company name on the career page along with the company profile. This enhancement will be useful for the customers who host the Pocket HRMS career page on their websites.

Instant Payslip Notifications
Now, simply toggle to ensure that your employees will receive an email and ESS notification when their payslips are posted. Admin/HR can enable or disable these notifications during the Web Post. Providing ease, efficiency and convenience to everyone.


Double-Check Payroll with Maker-Checker
We’ve added Maker-Checker functionality to smHRt Payroll! Now, you Can assign a Maker who is responsible for processing the payroll. In addition to that, there can be multiple checkers, who can review and approve it before finalization. This feature adds an extra layer of checks to eliminate possibilities for errors.

Lock Attendance Data for Payroll Accuracy
A new feature lets you disable Attendance Payroll Components from manual edits in Monthly Input screens. This ensures that only approved data will go to Payroll, preventing unauthorized changes.
