SMTP settings

Introduction

SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is a setup useful in sending mails at an organisation. Be it internal mailing or external, your email client such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Mailbird, etc. runs on SMTP protocol to send e-mails to the right receiver.

The SMTP from TCP/IP protocol stores and forwards emails through network and prevents cross emails.

This section will help you learn the steps involved in setting up an SMTP protocol on Pocket HRMS.

Steps

How to setup SMTP:

Step 1: Go to 'Settings'

Step 2: Proceed towards the 'Organisation' column. Select 'SMTP Settings' as shown below.

Step 3: Upon clicking on the edit option, you can edit/ delete SMTP settings along with parameters like sender's email, server, receiver's details, and other mandatory options as shown in the screenshot below.
