We are thrilled to present our Monthly Update, with enhanced user-friendly tools to elevate your HR experience. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency drives us to bring you seamless updates that transform your HR processes. For the month of May, we have the following enhancements:
Pocket HRMS offers flexible settings of leave deductions based on employees' attendance punch times. You can do the following customizations with ease.
Define auto deduction criteria for individual shifts
Set multiple time ranges of deductions for each shift
Set priorities with multiple leave types for deductions for each time range
Delete settings for individual time ranges without disturbing other settings
Delete all the custom settings for the particular shift when you no longer need it
These settings provide better control and efficiency for attendance and leave management.
Our new feature allows employees to submit requests such as, Leave, Attendance Regularization, On-duty, and Permission requests up to 5 days after the previous leave cycle ends.
Example:
Current Date: 30th May 2024
Current Leave Cycle: 26th May to 25th June
Previous Leave Cycle: 26th Apr to 25th May
Employees want to submit a request for dates that fall under the previous cycle such as 24th May.
Case A:
If you select the check box for ‘Limit requests to current and future date range only’ and set ‘5’ as ‘Extended Days’, employees can submit requests for dates within the 5-day buffer. That means employee can submit request for 24th May on current date of 30th may.
Case B:
If you select the check box for ‘Limit requests to current and future date range only’ and set ‘4’ as ‘Extended Days’, the buffer ends on 29th May, so employees cannot submit requests for 24th May on present date 30th may.
Optimized Sandwich Leave Rule Based on Leave Taken
Sandwich Leave deductions now follow the order in which employees apply for them and not the predefined order. If an employee lacks the balance for a particular leave type, Loss of Pay (LOP) will be applied.
Example,
Employee requests 'Paid Leave' for Friday and 'Sick Leave' for Monday.
Resulting leave pattern: Paid Leave, Week off, Week off, Sick Leave.
Scenarios:
If the remaining Paid Leave balance is 2 or more - Both week off are deducted as Paid Leave.
If the remaining Paid Leave balance is 1 -First week off as Paid Leave; the system checks Sick Leave for the second week off.
If there is no remaining Sick Leave balance - The second week off will be considered LOP.
We've revamped the PMS module with major upgrades. You can now get clearer and more readable appraisal reports in a modern PDF format. Also, we've introduced a new ‘New Detailed Report’ type with a user-friendly layout, making it easier to understand and enhancing your overall appraisal experience.
We have enhanced the Appraisal Peer Screen with several UI improvements and new features to make it easier to use,
Send emails to multiple peers at once
Delete individual or multiple entries simultaneously with proper validation to prevent errors
Auto-fill for email IDs for better accuracy
Edit auto-filled email IDs if needed.
These updates streamline the peer appraisal process and improve the overall user experience.
Our new feature in the 'Make an Offer' function allows you to send an offer letter and CTC break-up as a single PDF when you select the 'Attachment File' option.
We have introduced two new reports to better manage and analyze travel data:
Travel Detailed Report: Provides a detailed view of each travel entry, including reimbursement details, approval status, travel dates, and more.
Travel Summary Report: Offers a summary of travel activities, highlighting key details for quick insights.
These reports enhance travel data tracking and streamline reimbursement processes.
Our new training period configurations allow you flexibility to add training period before probation and ensures that employee receives adequate training with better user experience.
To set a training period by defining the ‘End Date’ as the ‘Joining Date’ is considered as the start date.
Probation begins right after the training period ends.
Extend the training by adding more days.
Both the employee and manager will be notified of the new end date.
Our new ‘Approve All’ and ‘Reject All’ features let you approve or reject all expense entries at once, across all pages. This saves time by eliminating the need to review each entry individually.
The new "Attachment Option" for timesheet entries in the project module allows users to attach files directly to their timesheet entries. This enhancement, enables better documentation and support for timesheet data, improving project tracking and record-keeping.
